International Programs
What we do → Engineering with Communities → International Programs
Providing access to the essential services and infrastructure everyone needs to live a life of opportunity, free from poverty.
Our Field Professional Placements build sector-wide capacity through long-term relationships, knowledge sharing and education. Currently, our Field Professionals work in Cambodia, Vanuatu and Timor-Leste supporting locally-led humanitarian engineering initatives that empower communities to tackle issues such as access to clean water, renewable energy, and appropriate sanitation and housing.
You can support this work through a donation today and help make a difference to the lives of thousands of people. Engineers Without Borders is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient; donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. Make a donation now!

News From the Field
We support our community partners through:
- Long term volunteer placements for emerging and experienced professionals
- Professional development opportunities

EWB’s International Program currently includes capacity building placements with partner organisations and the facilitation of four projects focused on Professional Skills Development, Sanitation in Challenging Environments, Inclusive Design and Accessibility and Renewable Energy. We currently work in three countries - Cambodia, Vanuatu and Timor-Leste.
