EWB Australia is seeking applications for  volunteers to take on the shared co-coordinator role of National School Outreach Coordinator, leading and supporting the delivery of EWB Australia’s School Outreach Program through the volunteer network across Australia. 

EWB Australia’s School Outreach program aims to support school students who are less likely to engage in STEM education to have the skills and knowledge to make informed decisions about pursuing STEM education and careers and to embed within the STEM sector a passion and commitment to contribute to a more equitable and sustainable world.

The National School Outreach Knowledge Hub Coordinator oversees the School Outreach Knowledge Hub, the mechanism through which EWB Australia’s School Outreach Program is delivered. The Knowledge Hub is made up of region representatives which support program delivery within their region, chapter representatives who lead teams of volunteers who deliver School Outreach locally and enabling volunteers, including the School Outreach Curriculum Coordnator who has responsiblitity for maintaining the EWB Australia SO Module Catalogue. They report to and are supported by the Volunteer Mobilisation team staff.

A full position description is available hereThe role is voluntary and expected to take up t0 four hours per week fit in around your work or study commitments. You will be supported by your co-coordinator, members of the School Outreach Knowledge Hub and the Volunteer Mobilisation team and can be based at the location of your choosing. Due to the context and relationship based nature of this role, we are seeking volunteers who are able to commit for a minimum of 12 to 18 months.
