The WA Treasurer is a part of the WA Region executive providing financial information to fellow volunteers on request and ensuring budgets are adhered to/modified as need be.

Role description
As WA Treasurer you are responsible for the financial management of the WA region including-budget adherence, bookkeeping and budget creation.

Note: Successful applicants must be a current or willing to become an EWB member (https://ewba.secure.force.com/CICM/Membership/EWB)

Key Responsibilities & Actions
• Reimbursement and Deposit processing (1 hour/week).
• Budget creation and coordination (10 hours/year).
• Providing guidance and financial information to the grants team (0.5 hour/week).

Key Dates & Events
• WA Budget due to National Office (~end of April).
• Beginning of the next financial year (1 July).
• WA Regional Meetings (second Monday each month) (desirable)
• WA Open Space Evenings (fourth Monday each month) (desirable)

• WA President (consultation on decision making and signing off on transactions).
• WA team leaders (reimbursements, deposits and budgeting).
• WA university treasurers (provide most of the work reimbursement, deposit and budgeting wise).

Skills / Experience
• Bookkeeping at a volunteer organisation or corporate level.
• Budgeting at a volunteer organisation or corporate level.
• Passion for helping people and working towards EWB mission, vision and 2020 aims.
