EWB's Region and University chapters are at the heart and soul of EWB and offer a great way for you to get involved at a grass roots level.  Chapters are the framework for you to connect with people with like-minded aspirations, learn more about humanitarian engineering and community development, and join in on local projects and initiatives.

  • Creating a sense of excitement and understanding about community development
  • Educating engineers and engineering students about appropriate and sustainable technologies
  • Helping prepare members for overseas placements
  • Working on local projects in partnership with local community organisations
  • Conducting outreach activities to raise awareness of development
