About EWB's International Program

The overarching vision for EWB's International Program is for everyone to have access to the services they need to lead a life of opportunity, free from poverty. We aim to achieve this by supporting and nurturing the movement of skilled humanitarian engineers across the region.

EWB’s International Program fosters long-term cross-sectoral partnerships with community organisations, educational institutions and the wider engineering and technical sector. We support long term Field Professional placements and projects focused on building individual, organisational and sector-wide capacity through mentorship, knowledge sharing and training. Currently, our team consists of 15+ Australian, New Zealand and local technical professionals and we have seconded over 150 technical professionals to work with EWB’s community partners over the past 12 years
