Do you want to contribute to the society by utilizing your technical knowledge in professional volunteering role but don’t know what organisation are out there or how to connect with them?
To help you connect Engineers Australia NSW and Engineering without Boarders have collaborated to bring together a range of build form professional NGOs and volunteer organisations.  Under a question and answer format this event will provide a forum for each organisation to provide an overview of their objectives and projects before audience members will be invited to raise questions to the panel.
A format that will attendees with provide great starting point gain a better insight into professional pro bono. Pro bono work being the opportunity to give back to the community through professional services.  A role which in turn return experience, confidence and, connections outside of our daily professional roles.

At this workshop, a panel representative from the Pro Bono industry form a renowned volunteering organisation will present and talk about their pro bono motivations and experience.
While the aim is to identify and appreciate the beauty of volunteering and pro bono, the event will also facilitate and assist participants to find the right volunteering organisations based on their motivations.
This workshop is offer to EWB Australia and Engineers Australia Members. Places are limited so early registration is recommended.
