This workshop will introduce core concepts of humanitarian engineering including human centred design, appropriate technology and taking a strengths based approach. Participants will put into practice the skills they have learnt and determine how the skills can be applied to their projects. This session is targeted at final year research students working on a humanitarian research project but is open to those that are interested.
