This workshop will introduce the core concepts of humanitarian engineering and how they can be applied to research. Participants will leave with an understanding of human-centered design, appropriate technology, and strengths-based approach. Final year students will find this session most relevant in the context of their capstone research project. It will be a great opportunity for the attendees to learn applicable skills developed in the workshop to their field of study as well as ask questions and meet their peers.
