Engineers Without Borders would like to invite you to WA's first Makerthon!
A hakerthon with a twist, we will be judging competitors on a final physical product which can be constructed using 3D Printers (although traditional tools can be used).
Our partnering with the UWA Lawerance Wilson Art Gallery sees us solving a very real world challenge
"How do we remove barriers that exist in art for people with disabilities?"
The event will be from March 9-12. With 3D printer training Thursday evening, the competition beginning Friday evening, continuing Saturday and ending Sunday afternoon with final group presentations.
We will only be taking on 10 teams of 5, so if you are interested please sign-up as soon as you can.
Thursday, March 9, 6.30pm-9pm.
Friday, March 10, 6pm-10.45pm.
Saturday, March 11, 7am-11pm.
Sunday, March 12, 7am-6pm.
Participants tickets are $85 pp or $425 for a team of 5
Observer tickets are $15 pp. Observer tickets entitle you to attend the opening and closing events.
