This is a great email group to keep you up-to-date on happenings and new publications. I think the best way to join is to email Dan Campbell at USAID (dcampbell@usaid.gov) introducing yourself and requesting to join:

This WASH wiki is promising and provides a good introduction to a broad range of technologies and approaches: http://www.akvo.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
There are some other WASH blogs here that you can subscribe too:

This one from Madeleine... a great tool for asking the professional community technical questions:

I saw a presentation on this at the conference I just went to: http://www.eawag.ch/forschung/sandec/publikationen/compendium_e/index_EN
It looked really cool and potentially useful to in-country vollies. It has been around for a while so you’ve probably seen it before, but I thought it could be helpful.
I can see it’s also online in Spanish and French, and the presenter said that it’s also available in Vietnamese and Nepali (though I can’t see them online, so they possibly have to be ordered as hard copies- I’m not sure).
