August 2008
Access2008 is Engineers Without Border's 3rd annual conference. It is a dynamic gathering of students and professionals interested in how community development and appropriate design intersect.
We are excited to announce the recent launch of our 3rd intake of volunteer positions! Volunteer positions are available now, ranging from renewable energy advisers in India, to ICT specialists in Cambodia, to agriculturalists for Nepal.
EWB is looking for a new External Relations Director to join the staff at the national office in Melbourne. This is an amazing opportunity if you are looking to work for an inspiring organisation and become part of an incredible team.
Places are now open to participate in one of EWB's Development Education Experiences to India, Cambodia or the Philippines. Learn more about community development and appropriate technology through a facilitated, first-hand learning experience.
In March this year, Engineers Without Borders was invited to present on the EWB Challenge at a project-centred learning workshop at the Cambridge-MIT Institute.
After taking on the design support for a rural water supply system, the Tenganan Water Supply project has now successfully reached its pre-construction phase. We receive an update from a volunteer in the field.
The long awaited EWB hoodies have finally arrived. Keep a lookout on the EWB Store to place your order!
