Become a Corporate Partner
EWB encourages organsations to make a positive contribution to the world’s disadvantaged communities. Our corporate partnerships provide vital links to the business world for EWB and are the primary source of much needed resources to continue our operations.
A corporate partnership with Engineers Without Borders provides your organisation with the opportunity to align itself with an international development organisation dedicated directly to the engineering community.
A partnership with EWB is not another charity sponsorship; it enables your staff to become directly engaged and involved in a variety of EWB programs through staff internships and secondments, placements on development programs, mentoring and training programs and much more.
By becoming an EWB Corporate Partner you will be supporting humanitarian aid to some of the world's poorest and most disadvantaged communities within Australia and overseas.

Benefits of a Corporate Partnership
- A partnership with EWB builds on and expands your organisation's expertise. It challenges staff technically by exposing them to new work environments and project constraints. At the same time, deepens their understanding of capacity building and community involvement in projects, and encourages a customer focus for delivery of services.
- Involvement in EWB programs is a way of integrating the concept of sustainable development into the culture of your company through active participation.
- It provides an opportunity for experienced engineers to reconnect to on-the-ground work through mentoring, participating in, or even leading a project.
- EWB programs are a vehicle to increase knowledge transfer from experienced to less experienced engineers.
- Your company will have the potential to improve and expand international business relationships and opportunities.
- It demonstrates to the community your company's commitment and social responsibility.
- A partnership with EWB has the potential to influence the culture of your company. It encourages employees to volunteer their time and expertise to help others, and simultaneously drives staff to reach their full potential.
- A partnership with EWB provides opportunities for younger engineers to develop their skills, both technical and management, through development experience in projects that are low risk, yet highly complex, and are supported within a strong EWB framework.
- Your company will be able to network with other EWB partners, members and supporters through our events and programs.
- It will increase your company's exposure and attractiveness, through shared values, to EWB's membership of over 4500 engineers in Australia, half of whom are engineering students. EWB attracts high achieving and passionate engineers who are concerned with sustainable development.
