This program seeks to assist community organisations in Victoria to reduce their environmental footprint and running costs through auditing, education and training. We develop long term partnerships with a wide variety of non-profit groups to assist them with the sometimes complicated world of energy efficiency and impact minimization. Our work benefits the environment, improves the capacity of these community welfare, and we get to solve some engaging engineering problems while we're at it.
Education on energy reduction measures and the installation of photovoltaic solar panels with the Kooma Traditional Owners Association. Check out the project overview here.
Photovoltaic Lighting Systems Training project involves two major compents - designing, maintaining and updating existing data monitoring system of installed village power systems and leading, advising and guiding the installation of renewable energy projects.
Utilising existing technologies and local resources this program aims to improve the livelihoods of remote communities and facilitiates the rural poor of Nepal into the profitable ownership of their natural resources. Technologies used include bio-fuels, micro hydro systems and pico-hydro systems using low-head, low power propeller and cross flow turbine technology.

Rural Integrated Development Services is a holistic non-profit community development organisation based in Nepal. It works in the remote and mountainous communities assisting the groups within and individuals who are poor, marginalised, socially oppressed and underprivileged.
Child Welfare Scheme (CWS) are an international development charity, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young people in Nepal. CWS work closely with local Nepalese organisations, on projects which are child-focused, child-friendly, and aim to empower children and communities to create a brighter future for themselves.
KAPEG (Kathmandu Alternative Power and Energy) are a small organisation based in Dhulikel who develop alternative energy products and services with local manufacturing and materials to increase employment and provide affordable and appropriate alternative power sources. KAPEG’s projects include wind turbine development, solar timber drying, timber quality assessment (for use in wind power) and production of white LED lamps.
