10:20 to 10:40 – Pictures of Development (Kim)

10:40 to 11:00 – Morning Tea

11:00 – 11:15 –What is Development – Development blocks  (Kim)

11.15 – 11.45 –Spectrum activity,  Development Principles, exercise (compare sentences), Case Studies (Kim)

11:45 to 12:30 – Role play for scenario – slides 31 to 34 - Want to improve sanitation practices in a community (One is development worker everyone else is the community) - Dan

12:30 – 1:30 - Lunch

1:30 to 2:00 – Who knows what (30 mins) – both!

2:00 to 2:30 – Listening and Hearing (30 mins) - Kim

2:30 to 3:00 – PowerPoint of slides (ABCD) slide 63 to 86 - Dan

3:00 to 3:10 – Map strengths of their group - Kim

3:10 to 3:30 – Afternoon Tea

3:30 to 4:30 – Role Play – Without Borders Village - Kim

4:30 to 5:00 – Debrief – Dan – Do in pairs and write down 3 key things you learnt (stick notes and talk about them) + Open discussion – How does this feel has prepared you.
