The EWB Victorian Region Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Program Focus Group coordinates local events focused on member education relating to reconciliation and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement. The Focus group ties in with the National program and also works with a number of EWB's other national and Victorian initiatives and partnerships.

Fitzroy Aboriginal History Walk
On Tuesday some FG members went for a walk through Fitzroy checking out Aboriginal community institutions such as the Fig Tree under which community meetings were held, the original church of Pastor Sir Douglas Nicholls (a Yorta Yorta man who led the fight for Aboriginal citizenship) and a community workshop.
