QUT Deans Scholar for the Developing World is for QUT Medical Engineering students. The project aims to identify and develop appropriate medical devices for diagnostic purposes in rural community health clinics. A skills transfer program trains the medical and engineering staff to allow for the continued manufacture and utilization of teh medical devices developed.
