Plan Timor Leste has been working since 2001, helping poor children to access their rights to education, health, livelihoods and protection. They currently work in the districts of Aileu and Lautern, and have been working in camps for internally displaced people in the capital, Dili, since the political crisis of 2006. As the emergency situation has stabilised and the camps are gradually being phased out, they are now helping to reintegrate displaced people into their communities.
