A 4-week intensive educational program in India, exploring how economically poor and marginalised people are organising themselves to overcome poverty and injustice. It focuses on building a deep understanding of the role of technology and engineering practice in the community development and change processes. This is achieved through workshops and project visits to small voluntary community organisations and communities in western and northern India.
Undergraduates with an active interest in engineering and development are invited to join EWB for a four week program in Cambodia exploring the application of appropriate technology to solve issues related to poverty and the environment. The team will be hosted by a range of organisations including the Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Resource Development International, Live and Learn, and Handicap International.
