Field Officer Visit to EMW Project
EWB's work with East Meets West sees our field volunteer, Gary, visiting local-scale water supply projects around the Mekong Delta to inspect their quality. A self-designed and installed bore hoist and pressure vessel demonstrate the ingenuity of the communities which are making the most of the support of the EMW WATSAN program.

Visit to Tien Giang Province 2-6th March 2010
This story details of one of the first field trips I did as part of my secondment. The trip was to the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang.
East Meets West (EMW) has a very successful clean water program in the central provinces of Vietnam and are expanding this program into the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. My role is to provide support to the Vietnamese national who is the program manager for this expansion.
