KSE Medical is developing a new device called a BabyStation, an incubator-like system for the resuscitation and care of critically ill newborns. It is an integrated system combining three main devices bundled with several other medical diagnostic tools, integrated with a common embedded PC. The goal of this device is to expand the work capacity of caregiving staff in developing country hospitals where patient to nurse ratios are typicall 10:1.
