EWB works in partnership with organisations to improve the quality of life in disadvantaged communities through education and community development projects.
We offer our corporate partners innovative and sustainable approaches to working with our community partner organisations. We also nurture development leaders in these environments to create social change within and beyond the engineering sector.
Our corporate partners have the opportunity for their employees to engage in our projects and initiatives both in Australia and overseas. This is a chance for whole organisations and individuals to share their knowledge and expertise with EWB and the broader community including our volunteers, community partners, university partners and industry partners.
This engagement provides unique learning and development opportunities in community development for employees from a range of backgrounds such as engineers, scientists, policy makers, marketing and HR.
There are a variety of opportunities for employee engagement ranging from the provision of technical assistance on a WASH project, to spending three weeks on a development and leadership training experience in India, to mentoring undergraduate research students to getting involved in a local project through your regional Chapter, and that’s just to name a few!
