This project is run in conjunction with Sudanese Australia Integrated Learning (SAIL). SAIL run a tutoring program on Saturday mornings and SiW is run as an activity with the kids after tutoring. EWB collects old bikes and holds working bees where volunteers come and fix up the bikes. These bikes are then taken to SAIL where volunteers teach the children how to use the bikes, road safety issues and general maintenance of the bikes. After the activity the children are given able to take the bikes home. There are a few opportunities here, including volunteering on the day, helping to find bikes to be donated and also helping with general administration.
