Sages Cottage Farm Water Project
EWB is assisting the Sudanese refugee community in Melbourne to access donated old bicycles and fix them up for use. Bikes provide them with a sustainable and affordable form of transport, connects them to broader communities and promotes healthy living!
This program seeks to assist community organisations in Victoria to reduce their environmental footprint and running costs through auditing, education and training. We develop long term partnerships with a wide variety of non-profit groups to assist them with the sometimes complicated world of energy efficiency and impact minimization. Our work benefits the environment, improves the capacity of these community welfare, and we get to solve some engaging engineering problems while we're at it.
The EWB Undergraduate Research Program allows EWB to work collaboratively with community partners, universities and research institutions to assist communities, provide students with real world experience, and build the capacity of all partners.
