BDS Working Bee a Huge Success!

Big thanks to everyone involved with this event. See posting for more details.

A big thank you to all attend the Broadmeadows Disability Service Working Bee on the 24th and 25th of July. The event was a massive success completing more work than what was expected. Saturday we were lucky enough that the rain held off and the bar was set for the amount of work achievable by EWB members. With the main garden bed being more than well on its way to completion and all of the holes dug for tree planting set up for a productive day Sunday following. Sunday the sun was shining and all the work started Saturday was completed shortly after lunch with the exception of a couple of trees whose holes did not completely drain the water pumped into them overnight. Due to our efficiency another small garden bed was measured up and put together as an added bonus to BDS exceeding their expectations of EWB. Ben has posted a special mention on the BDS website http://www.bds.org.au/ also RMIT members keep an eye out for the Catalysts magazine where an article of the project has been written up. Once again thank you all for your help.
