Background Information
We have uploaded some background information onto a series of pages accessible from the main EWB Challenge page or www.ewb.org.au/backgroundinfo. To access this page select the page Background on the left hand side half way down the page under pages. This page will give you background on the overall EWB Challenge program. Form this page you can access the following sub-pages:
- Aims and objectives of the program – www.ewb.org.au/aims

The resources page can be accessed from the link below Background on the left hand middle of the EWB Challenge main page or from www.ewb.org.au/learningobjectives. This page provides an overview of some of the resources available to students and includes links to the following subpages:
- Interactive Resources (www.ewb.org.au/interactiveresources)
- This page includes the overall Aims and specific judging criteria of the EWB Challenge and then from each judging criteria provides a number of resources.
- These resources include short videos that could be included in lectures, interactive tutorials that run for between 20 and 60 minutes, and links to other online resources.
- Each Judging criteria has a resource outline which explains the resources provided and how they might be used.
- These resources have been provided to assist with delivery of the program and are there for you and your students use if you wish to access them.
- Learning objectives (www.ewb.org.au/learningoutcomes)
- This page provides the details of how the aims of the EWB Challenge relative to the Graduate Engineering Attributes and flow through to the judging criteria of the 2010 EWB Challenge
- This is a useful resource for Course Coordinators when demonstrating how the program meets these graduate attributes.
- Design Area Resources (www.ewb.org.au/designareas)
- This page provides relevant data on each of the nine design areas that students will be working on.
- This page should greatly assist students in developing their designs.
Frequently Asked Questions
The frequently asked questions forum can be accessed from www.ewb.org.au/2010participants. This is a private page on the website and not accessible to the general public. To become a member of this group students must join EWB. Membership is free for EWB Challenge participants, they just need to select the box that indicates they are an EWB Challenge participant. Once they are members students will automatically be given membership to this group. Further details of this registration process can be found on the announcements on the EWB Challenge home page or at the following link (http://www.ewb.org.au/announcements/256/10288).
