L&L Prototype Under Development

The Tonle Sap Floating Latrine Project has begun constructing prototype urine diversion pans in Kandal

With the assistance of Vanna from Resource Development International - Cambodia and the EWB technical network based in Sydney, EWB volunteer Judy Hagan has started developing prototype urine diversion pans. The pans have been built from a range of materials and of varying designs in order to gather information to feed back into the design process.

The design process is underway in Sydney where the EWB team have been meeting regularly to design and refine models for pans and other sanitation options for the communities.

Judy’s also been busy in the field conducting the baseline survey with the floating community on Tonle Sap who are supporting the Floating Latrine project.
