Call for Interested WASH Knowlege Hub Committee

As you are aware EWB will be unvieling a new platform for Knowlege Hubs next year. Before this point though, we need to commiss a WASH Knowlege Hub team to help in cordinating a new strategy to allow this group to have greater input into projects  where required and also dedicate technical support to overseas volunteers.

Hi WASH KNOWLEGE HUB

As you are aware EWB will be unvieling a new platform for Knowlege Hubs next year. Before this point though, I am commission ing a WASH Knowlege Hub team to help me in cordinating a new strategy to allow this group to have greater input into projects  where required and also dedicate technical support to overseas volunteers.

The types of activities thatthis committee may be involved in include:
• Development of EWB strategy & operational processes
• Proposing new initiatives
• Assistance in the appraisal of initiative proposals
• Promotion of volunteer opportunities
• Assistance in the selection of volunteers
• Resource development & collation
• Training material development & delivery
• Advising and supporting initiative teams, field volunteers and (where appropriate) community partner   organisations and other external organisations
• Keeping members up to date with  initiatives and external developments
• Celebrating the contributions and successes of EWB volunteers
• Facilitating discussion
• Monitoring, evaluating & learning from EWB’s initiatives
• Feeding lessons back into strategy and other initiatives
• Producing papers for publication in journals and/or presentation at conferences
• Identifying research topics
